About the Theatre Club

The Theatre Club at Westminster High School was founded by the fine arts director, Jack Thompson, along with several of his advisees in 2001. It began as a small club that performed one play a year, usually in the Spring. Today, the Theatre Club performs up to six plays a year, beginning Labor Day weekend and ending the last week in March. This year's plays include "All I Really Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten," "Romeo and Juliet" which was followed by "After Juliet," "All at Sea," and the annual Senior Play, "The Bindermeyer Theory." The club is growing rapidly and has over 175 students this year, up 50 from last year. If you are interested in joining, please see Mr. Thompson in room 301 before or after school or talk to one of the members. The club meets Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 3-4:30 in the room 272.
