Being a native New Yorker, the city is my first choice for a vacation. There is so much to see and do in Manhattan, besides visiting family and friends. My stay in the city will start with the Ritz-Carlton at Battery Park, which has some of the best views in the city. During my stay, I am going to go to lunch with some of my aunts, uncles, and cousins at S'mac and get some cupcakes from Buttercup Bakery. I plan on interning at Bowne New York for a few days. I might take some classes at the French Culinary Institute of America, Brasserie Rhoulmann, Danube, and Bouley. Hopefully I can reserve Bill, my favorite driver, to take me around the city because I hate the subways. I’m going to visit my friends and hang out at their favorite places. Because they will still be in school when I visit, I might tour their schools for a day. After that I’m not sure what I’ll do, but whatever it is, I’ll have a good time! |
